Education is meant to promote ideas, critical thinking, and challenge us to reach our highest potentials.  Schools should not be an arena where opinions are shoved down our throats.  Education cannot be forced upon a student who is not willing to learn and education should not limit the knowledge that we, as students of life, want to learn.  The right to learn is free and so should be the opportunity.

Just as easy as it is to learn about Jeremy Lin & his (hopefully continuing) Cinderella story, it’s THAT easy to learn about your faith, politics, job opportunities, and so much more. The world is in our hands and the future is at our expense.  If we wanna change it and make a difference, it’s up to us to learn about the problems that need changing.  If we’re hungry for information, then hunt for it.  READ (something more important than my blog)!  Form your own opinions!  And if you like it (the news that you read—not my blog), then share it with someone who would probably care or benefit from knowing!
